Job Introduction

The award-winning [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] People Team is looking for a Digital Learning Manager!

We are looking to hire a Digital Learning Manager to lead all activities relating to [Employer hidden]’s Learning Systems and linked to systems managed within Compass UK&I business. You will join an existing team of two L&D Business Partners and a Diversity and Inclusion Business Partner, an Events & Projects Coordinator, two dedicated Recruitment professionals and the Head of HR, and the Head of Learning. The role reports into the latter. There will be a working relationship with Compass L&D team, including their dedicated Digital Learning Manager.

As the Digital Learning Manager, you will oversee the creation and management of e-learning content via our learning studio technology, our LMS and to act as technical support for users.  You will also undertake and manage digital projects relating to L&D strategy and work closely with the rest of the L&D team on other projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for data across all systems, ensuring data integrity is maintained as a priority.
  • Work closely with all systems suppliers to ensure all development updates are implemented effectively and road map requirements are on track.
  • Carrying out all system administration relating to LMS and content authoring tools.
  • To project manage the deployment of new programmes within learning systems, liaising with external suppliers, internal and client stakeholders, managing and advising stakeholders on appropriate learning solutions and carrying out appropriate testing across multiple devices.
  • To support the Learning and Development Business Partners to deliver business requests and changes including but not limited to deployment of [Employer hidden] specific learning, including for consultancy contracts, and our global businesses.
  • To develop user guides and carry out training for managers in line with LMS system and process developments.
  • Working with our Head of L&D and key stakeholders to ensure all relevant reporting is delivered in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience and knowledge of working with LMS and content authoring tools/websites.
  • Experience working in a matrix organisation, responsible to many stakeholders.
  • Project management experience.
  • Confident and articulate communicator with people at all levels of business.
  • Ability to act autonomously when required.
  • Ability to solve problems and work on own initiative.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Strong organisational and prioritising ability.
  • Experience working with MS Office Programmes, intermediate Excel skills at a minimum.
  • Experience within a learning and development function, whilst managing suppliers.

Desirable:

  • Experience within the premium hospitality sector, and activities related to performance within a consultancy environment.
