Caretaker - The Dome

What you’ll achieve in the role:

The overall purpose of this role is to carry out efficient, proactive, high standard cleaning, basic maintenance activities, and health and safety checks at the Dome and the surrounding area to ensure regulatory compliance and the safety of our customers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver a high-quality, reliable cleaning service that ensures the Dome including communal areas are consistently clean, safe, and welcoming for customers and staff.
• Ensure safe and efficient operations by using cleaning materials and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations, and reporting equipment faults immediately. This includes carrying out monthly checks and recoding of emergency lighting and fire extinguishers to plant room, boiler room and lift motor room and carry out weekly floor by floor tests to fire alarms and keep relevant records.
• Produce accurate and timely reports in line with building regulator requirements.
• Help the service meet key performance targets and cost controls, ensuring work is completed within agreed timeframes and budgets.

What you’ll bring to Raven:

For this role, we are looking for someone with the following:

• Possess a valid full clean driving licence.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures including COSHH and correct use of PPE.
• Proven ability to complete small one-off repair jobs.
