Homeownership Advisor

What you’ll achieve in the role:

The overall purpose of this role is to deliver an efficient, high-quality, customer-focused service across leasehold, shared ownership, and Right to Buy/Acquire customers, ensuring legal compliance, accurate charging, effective debt recovery, and continuous service improvement shaped by homeowner feedback.

• Deliver timely and compliant management of statutory homeownership schemes (e.g., Right to Buy/Acquire), meeting all legal and internal deadlines to avoid delays and ensure customer confidence.
• Process leasehold transactions and variations accurately and on time, supporting legal compliance, smooth sales progression, and minimising financial or reputational risk.
• Carry out statutory Section 20 consultations on major works, ensuring homeowner engagement, transparency of costs, and timely completion of formal obligations.
• Prepare and issue annual service charge estimates and reconciliations, ensuring charges are accurate, transparent, and issued within agreed timelines.
• Maintain effective lease administration for commercial properties, ensuring income is secured and leaseholder obligations are upheld.

What you’ll bring to Raven:

For this role, we are looking for someone with the following:

• Proven knowledge of Lease Agreements, Home Ownership Processes (e.g. Right to Buy, Staircasing) and Service Charge Management.
• Proven understanding of financial regulations in relation to property Management.
• Knowledge of debt collection, arrears recovery.
• Knowledge of rent setting, managing increases.
• Knowledge of Audit processes.
