The M&A Group Performance Director is accountable for ensuring that acquisitions integrate successfully, performance is stabilised, and value is consistently realised as the Group scales through rapid M&A.

Permanent, Full-time
This role exists to protect and enhance value during a period of accelerated acquisitions, ensuring integrations are right first time, vendor relationships remain aligned, and performance outcomes match what was underwritten.
The role draws on deep, repeat acquisition experience to reduce risk, improve judgement, and ensure the Group is fully prepared for lender scrutiny and a near-term equity event.
Duties & Responsibilities
Accountable for ensuring post-acquisition integrations deliver expected value
Focus on outcomes, not mechanics
Identify integration risk early and intervene via the Executive Team
Ensure integrations protect customers, people, EBITDA, and cashflow
Performance & Value Protection
Track performance vs acquisition models
Identify margin leakage or underperformance early
Improve predictability and quality of earnings
Reduce surprises to lenders and equity investors
Vendor & Founder Relationship Management
Act as senior, credible point of contact post-completion
Manage founder dynamics and earn-out tension
Maintain alignment and reduce disruption
Support smooth transitions where founders remain
Selective M&A Judgement Support
Participate in selected vendor meetings pre-completion
Draw on experience from 20+ prior acquisitions to identify repeat risk patterns
Assess founder behaviour, cultural risk, and integration complexity
Provide judgement and challenge, not deal execution
Scale & Stability During Rapid Growth
Ensure stability as significant revenue and headcount are added
Support leadership teams through integration change
Prevent fragmentation across regions and cultures
Executive Challenge & Scar-Tissue Input
Act as constructive counterweight to optimism
Bring lived experience of integration failure and covenant pressure
Improve overall Executive decision-making

Experience across high-volume acquisitions
