The Role:
[Employer hidden]’s Marketing team is seeking an additional team member to assist with our internal and external communications. This generalist marketing position offers the opportunity to learn from a team of seven experienced communications professionals, while progressively taking ownership of campaigns from briefing through to delivery. We’re looking for someone with strong copywriting skills, copyediting skills, and an eagle eye for detail for this hands‑on, in‑house marketing role.
Responsibilities:
Support the Marketing team in delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns:
- With assistance from the Marketing Manager, outline, write, edit, and publish external communications collateral such as blogs, brochures, case studies, emails, client newsletters, press releases, and website content
- With assistance from the Marketing Manager, ideate, write, edit, and publish internal communications collateral such as newsletters, presentations, and internal emails
- Help plan and execute creative campaigns for the launch of new products and services
- Participate in the ideation of strategic creative concepts and execute project planning to bring them to life through video, copywriting, and design
Manage and grow [Employer hidden]’s social media channels, creating engaging and consistent content:
- Organise monthly and weekly social media calendars to align with the social media and company-wide strategy
- Lead social media team meetings, manage the agenda, and follow up on any agreed-upon actions as required
- Be responsible for seeking constant improvements to [Employer hidden]’s social media presence by researching and implementing evolving best practices. Keep abreast of industry news and creative trends (on social media and in broader popular culture) to keep [Employer hidden]’s campaigns current and engaging among target audiences
Assist with the management of [Employer hidden]’s applications and attendance at relevant award ceremonies:
- With help from the Marketing Manager, plan, write, and submit applications for awards in the green business sector
- Organise participants and secure tickets to relevant award ceremonies
Work across the Marketing team and wider business to deliver on commercial and business-wide goals:
- Ensure alignment with the Digital Marketing Manager on topics and keywords that boost website SEO
- Support the Content Creator on video shoot days by assisting with planning and execution of the schedule
- Act as a brand champion, ensuring consistency in messaging and tone across all communications
Assist the Marketing Manager and Events Manager with:
- Planning, coordinating, and delivering client-facing events
- Volunteer days
- Workshops
- Webinars
About you:
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Media, or similar)
- 2–3 years’ experience in a marketing or communications role (in‑house or agency)
- Strong copywriting and copy‑editing skills across digital and print channels
- Experience supporting or delivering multi‑channel marketing campaigns
- Confident project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and confidence reviewing content for accuracy, tone, and consistency
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and content planning
- Proactive, organised, and keen to learn and develop within a collaborative team
- Interest in sustainability, purpose‑led brands, or the green business sector (desirable)
