Weighbridge Office Administrator
We are currently recruiting for a new role of a Weighbridge Office Administrator to join our busy and expanding Transport Team. The successful candidate will be required to report to the Weighbridge Officer Supervisor and to manage the daily operations of the vehicles and all daily administrative activities. The successful candidate must be able to ensure office procedures run smoothly and will receive on the job training and mentorship.

Job Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a new role of a Weighbridge Office Administrator to join our busy and expanding Transport Team. The successful candidate will be required to report to the Weighbridge Officer Supervisor and to manage the daily operations of the vehicles and all daily administrative activities. The successful candidate must be able to ensure office procedures run smoothly and will receive on the job training and mentorship.
Duties:
- · Weighing high volumes of loads accurately, ensuring proper documentation for waste, containers, trailers, and recording data for [Employer hidden] incoming trailers.
- · Generating new contracts and releases on internal systems.
- · Completing and reviewing large amounts of paperwork for goods movements in accordance with legal guidelines ensuring all information is accurate.
- · Provide customers with relevant paperwork and reports relating to their contracts.
- · Undertake data checks
- · Meeting deadlines in accordance with customer loading schedules.
- · Weighbridge Officer Supervisor.
- · Entering and matching PODs on internal systems (Proof of Delivery).
- · Undertaking any other reasonable duties within the scope of this role.
Essential Criteria:
- · Ability to work under pressure in a busy office environment
- · Excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking skills
- · Be able to make decisions under pressure, and to a tight timescale.
- · The ideal candidate will be a problem solver and have excellent communication skills.
- · Ability to work without direct supervision.
- · Professional attitude
- · Sound knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- · This role involves working across different shift patterns which may include weekends to cover staff holidays and peak periods. (7am-4pm, 8am-5pm & 9am-6pm)
- · The successful candidate must also hold a Full Driving Licence with access to own vehicle.
- · A minimum of one year’s prior experience in an administrative role within a fast-paced office environment.
Duration: Full Time Permanent position that may require working overtime during peak periods.
