FULL DESCRIPTION
Senior ICT & Security Engineer - London
RED are an expanding international M&E consultancy, with a proven track record in low energy design, focused on providing excellent design solutions to clients. We now seek a Senior ICT & Security Engineer to be based in our London office.
Role Responsibilities
- Carries out cost and profit diagnosis on projects including feasibility studies and preparation of fee bids
- Reviews status advised by project personnel and external parties and modifies schedules or plans as required.
- Prepares project reports for Management, Client or others.
- Represents Company at technical meetings with customers, professional teams and contractors’ teams
- Support the delivery of projects in accordance with the expectations of the RED Project Delivery Process from a Project Management, Financial Management, QA/QC and Technical Review perspective
- Day to day decision making on project progress and direct liaison with, and provides advice to client
- Responsible for running of medium size projects.
- Undertakes a client facing role in the development and design and coordination of engineering project services for ICT/Security installations, systems, equipment, facilities etc.
- Responsible for technical content and accuracy of Trainee, Graduates and Engineers.
Role Requirements
- Engineering degree in appropriate ICT infrastructure engineering discipline
- At least 5 -10 years’ appropriate employment experience

- IT/Multi-disciplinary consulting firm
- ICT consultancy and project management
- Security Consultancy
- Construction project management (with a technology emphasis)
- Network technology vendor/manufacturer
- Network systems integration contractor
Ideally the candidate will have a technical understanding of the following
