Senior Residential Support Worker – Children’s Home

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Consulting are working with a provider of children’s residential services in the search for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join a residential children’s home based in the East Midlands.

The service supports young people with emotional and behavioural needs and aims to create a stable, supportive and nurturing environment where young people can feel safe and develop positively.

The Senior Residential Support Worker will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the home and providing guidance to the residential care team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting young people with their daily routines, care needs and development
• Acting as a shift leader within the residential home
• Supporting safeguarding and positive behaviour support strategies
• Contributing to care planning, risk assessments and reviews
• Supporting and mentoring Residential Support Workers within the team

To be considered for this role, you will need

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
• Experience working within a children’s residential home environment
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• A commitment to supporting positive outcomes for young people

The role offers a salary of £29,000 – £34,000 plus sleep-in payments, depending on experience.
