[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Consulting continue to work with one of their established elderly care providers in the search for a Clinical Deputy Home Manager for a medium-sized nursing home based in Romsey, Hampshire.
This is a key leadership opportunity within a stable and well-supported service. The home benefits from a strong and experienced Home Manager and is now seeking to appoint a confident, clinically credible deputy to lead on nursing standards, governance, and day-to-day clinical oversight.
This is a largely supernumerary role, allowing you to focus on clinical leadership, quality improvement, audits, and team development rather than being counted within the staffing numbers.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Home Manager with the operational and clinical leadership of the service
- Leading, mentoring and developing the nursing team
- Overseeing care planning, medication management, and clinical compliance
- Driving audits, governance processes, and CQC readiness
- Promoting a strong, person-centred culture across the home
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Active NMC PIN (RGN or RMN)
- Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or strong Clinical Lead within a nursing home setting
- Solid knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance
- Confident leadership skills and the ability to support and develop a nursing team
The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, offering £50,000–£51,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
