Deputy Nursing Home Manager

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Consulting is working with one of its established elderly care providers in the search for a Clinical Deputy Home Manager based in Suffolk.

We're seeking an experienced, qualified nurse-deputy to support the Home Manager in the day-to-day leadership of the service and to maintain high standards of clinical care and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the home
  • Providing strong clinical leadership to nursing and care teams
  • Overseeing audits, medication management, and regulatory compliance
  • Supporting staff development through coaching, mentoring, and supervision
  • Working with the leadership team to maintain and improve quality outcomes

This is a largely supernumerary position with a Monday–Friday working pattern, offering the opportunity to play a key leadership role within an established service.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • An active UK NMC PIN (RGN or RMN)
  • Experience within a nursing home environment
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards and clinical governance
  • Leadership experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, or senior nurse

The role offers a salary of £60,000, working 45 hours per week, with participation in the on-call rota.
