[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Consulting continue to work with one of their established not-for-profit elderly care providers in the search for a Registered Home Manager for a medium-sized nursing and residential care home based in Surrey.

This is a senior leadership opportunity within a well-regarded, charity-led service delivering high-quality residential, nursing, dementia, and respite care. The home has a strong family ethos and sits within a purpose-driven organisation where profits are reinvested directly back into care and development.

The role requires a confident and experienced Home Manager who can provide visible leadership, maintain regulatory compliance, and continue to embed high standards of care, culture, and accountability. Nurse-qualified candidates (RGN/RMN) are encouraged to apply, although experienced non-nurse Home Managers with a strong nursing-home background will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing strong, visible leadership across all operational aspects of the home
  • Acting as the Registered Manager, holding full accountability for quality, compliance, and performance
  • Leading, developing, and supporting a multidisciplinary care and nursing team
  • Ensuring full compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements, including CQC
  • Driving inspection readiness and maintaining strong governance oversight
  • Embedding a positive, values-led, family-oriented culture focused on person-centred care
  • Working closely with senior leadership to deliver agreed quality and business objectives

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Registered Home Manager within residential or nursing care
  • Nurse qualification (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN is desirable; strong nursing-home leadership experience is essential
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, governance, and quality frameworks
  • Proven experience managing medium-sized services
  • A confident, resilient, hands-on leadership style
