Content Design UX Customer Insights Cross-functional Collaboration Stakeholder Management Team Leadership

FULL DESCRIPTION

Job Description

What you’ll be doing: You’ll lead a group of talented content designers working with the cross-functional teams that make up Onboarding — a squad that shapes people’s first experiences and interactions with [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk].  You'll also work closely with our Consumer Onboarding team, translating customer insights into experiences that help people start using [Employer hidden] for the first time.

Here’s how you’ll contribute:

  • Get to know our customers, building empathy and a deep understanding of their needs
  • Use your expertise to discover, design and deliver simple, beautifully crafted, intuitive experiences that customers love
  • Influence teams and stakeholders to increase customer-centeredness, creativity, and content quality across the squad
  • Work with designers from other squads to build a single, seamless experience for customers

This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Support and grow a talented design team
  • Deliver impact and ship work you’re proud of
  • Be hands on, leading through the work and setting the bar
  • Elevate content quality — defining what good looks like in the squad, then helping deliver it
  • Be part of a positive change in the world. We’re fixing a broken, greedy system, and putting people and businesses in control of their money

About you:

  • Accomplished Lead Content Designer with extensive experience shipping world-class consumer products
  • A trusted partner, skilled at building cross-functional relationships with peers and the wider business
  • Comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity — and can successfully collaborate in this environment
  • Have an eye for quality. You know how to deliver quality, and how to support others to do the same
  • Influential, inspiring, and able to work with others in a culture that values autonomy and empowerment
  • Highly empathetic, both to customers and the people you work with

Heads up, this probably isn’t for you if:

  • Your experience is mostly in marketing content, advertising, copywriting, journalism or social media – and you have no hands-on experience of content design or working in UX or you’re not comfortable navigating complexity and working in a fast-paced environment
