We’re looking for a diligent Senior Membership, Foundation and Professional Development Officer to help us do just that.

About the Role

As Senior Membership, Foundation and Professional Development Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the core aspects of our organisation. Working cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders, your goal will be to ensure the smooth running of training events, the planning and delivery of our Foundation work and meet the administrative needs of our membership.

Key Responsibilities

To support the Membership, Foundation and Professional Development Manager in the following areas:

  • The delivery of high quality service for all member organisations, covering duties as varied as invoicing to presenting our offer at networking events, to ensure that all members feel that they are getting value from working with us
  • The design of our Foundation offer in 2026-27 and the consequent assessment of applications and distribution of funds, working alongside the finance team
  • The organisation of the calendar of professional development events for 2026-27, including liaising with marketing team to drive high attendance and administering to needs of trainers and external contractors.

What We’re Looking For

  • A proven track record of events organisation with an understanding of the education sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence in analysing data and evaluation forms to improve and better target services
  • A collaborative team player who can work effectively across departments.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
