Maths Lecturer
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] group is looking for a Lecturer in Maths to join our Berkshire College of Agriculture (BCA) team on a permanent, full-time basis. The Lecturer in Maths primary responsibilities include delivering high-quality teaching and support, fostering student engagement and progression, and ensuring successful course completion.
Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality teaching and support
- Fostering student engagement and progression
- Ensuring successful course completion
- Developing and implementing teaching programs that promote independent learning and continuous student progression
- Monitoring and evaluating student progress, prepare them for exams, and manage Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)
- High student attendance and participation in administrative and strategic meetings are expected, alongside supporting extracurricular activities that contribute to student career and personal growth.
Required qualifications
- Relevant degree or vocational training
- A teaching qualification or the intent to obtain one
- A minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics
- Proven experience in teaching Maths GCSE and Functional Skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Adherence to the college’s policies on diversity, equality, risk management, health and safety, safeguarding, and data protection is also essential.
