SAA-uk is seeking an experienced capital consultant to scope, model, and cost a plan for creating its first permanent home in Leeds, focusing on sustainability and stakeholder engagement.

Do you have professional experience of capital consultancy and knowledge of the local development landscape? Are you passionate about supporting the creative and charitable sector in the North of England?

Background

SAA-uk is a Leeds-based centre of excellence for South Asian performing arts.

A National Portfolio Organisation of Arts Council England and an arts charity, for almost 30 years SAA-uk has championed and celebrated South Asian classical and contemporary music and dance. Our work spans a wide-ranging education programme, professional artist development, high-quality live performances, and community engagement activities, currently taking place across multiple sites in Leeds.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced capital consultant to scope, model, and cost a plan of work to create SAA-uk's first permanent home in Leeds. You will be committed to embedding sustainability measures and able to liaise confidently with key community stakeholders throughout the process.

  • Deadline to apply: Friday 10th April 2026, midday
  • Selected candidates to do an in-person presentation at our office in Mabgate Mills, Leeds: Week commencing 8th May 2026
  • Commencement of work: June 2026
  • A fee of £10,000 is available to support the work.
