FULL DESCRIPTION

Partner with a Mission Practitioner (MP) , an experienced children and youth ministry leader who can help develop and strengthen ministry with children, young people and families (CYPF). A Mission Practitioner is a paid, part-time (1 day / up to 9 hours per week) leader, funded by the Diocese, who brings practical expertise and fresh energy to support your church to build sustainable and thriving CYPF ministry.

Is your church looking for someone to support existing volunteers to share Jesus with children and youth who aren’t yet connected to church and grow your ministry? Partner with a Mission Practitioner (MP) , an experienced children and youth ministry leader who can help develop and strengthen ministry with children, young people and families (CYPF).

A Mission Practitioner is a paid, part-time (1 day / up to 9 hours per week) leader, funded by the Diocese, who brings practical expertise and fresh energy to support your church to build sustainable and thriving CYPF ministry.

They will work alongside your existing team and volunteers to do some of the following:

  • Reach children and young people not yet engaged in church life
  • Build volunteer confidence and strengthen existing CYP ministries
  • Create new expressions of faith and discipleship
  • Share Jesus in youth groups, children’s groups, after-school clubs, or toddler groups.
  • Support the development of a clear 0–18 year old ministry pathway
  • Supporting mission in low-income or under-resourced communities
  • Bringing in best practice for discipleship at church, school and home
