Job Summary

We are seeking a Power Platform Developer to join a small, collaborative technology team and play a key role in the implementation and ongoing development of a new Microsoft Power Platform system.

This position has been created due to the scale of the organisation’s move into Power Platform and the volume of development work required to support this transition. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional solutions, developing features within a model-driven Power Platform environment and helping the organisation maximise the value of its new platform.

The successful candidate will be someone who can hit the ground running, confidently interpret business needs, and deliver practical solutions. Following the initial implementation and migration phase, you will also play an important role in maintaining and evolving the platform, ensuring it continues to support the business effectively.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a lean, highly skilled team where your work will have direct impact and visibility across the organisation. The role will also expose you to emerging areas including AI capabilities, DevOps, SysOps, and cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform, with a strong focus on model-driven applications.
• Translate business requirements and stakeholder briefs into scalable technical features and applications.
• Build, configure, and customise solutions using Power Apps and Dynamics 365 environments.
• Support the implementation and migration of systems into the Power Platform ecosystem.
• Maintain and optimise the platform following implementation to ensure performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Provide guidance and recommendations on the best technical approach to solving business problems.
• Work within a cloud-based environment, ensuring solutions align with modern platform practices.
• Contribute to the broader technology roadmap, including exploration of AI and operational tooling.

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a Power Platform Developer or similar role.
• Strong experience building solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, particularly model-driven apps.
• Experience working with Dynamics 365, ideally within a Dynamics 365 Sales environment.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft cloud environments.
• Experience translating business requirements into working technical solutions.
• Ability to work independently, analyse problems, and propose effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred

• Experience with Azure Resource Management.
• Knowledge of JavaScript for extending Power Platform functionality.
• Experience working within low-code or hybrid technical environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices or cloud operations environments.
• Demonstrated longevity in previous roles, showing commitment and stability within teams.
