FULL DESCRIPTION

Project Planner – Data Centres

 London, UK (Office Based)

 £80k+ (Flexible)

Your new company

We are working with a leading global consultancy and project management firm that is transforming the way data centres are delivered in the UK.

They are no longer just advising on projects, they are now acting as both consultant and EPC/Main Contractor on some of the largest data centre developments in the country. This consultancy is winning multi-billion-pound projects for blue-chip clients and rapidly expanding their team to meet unprecedented demand.

Your new role

You will join a team delivering large-scale, mission-critical data centre projects, working closely across construction, engineering, and subcontractor teams.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate project programmes, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring seamless coordination across all disciplines. This is a role where your planning expertise will directly influence project outcomes.

You will:

  • Build and maintain project programmes using Critical Path Methodology (CPM).
  • Produce rolling 90-day lookaheads, progress curves, earned value, and variance reporting.
  • Coordinate with construction managers, engineers, and subcontractors to validate progress and resolve schedule impacts.
  • Support programme narratives, logic diagrams, and other outputs for stakeholder and executive reporting.

What you'll need to succeed

6+ years’ experience in project planning or scheduling, ideally with major technical contractors.

Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

Strong understanding of CPM principles, multi-trade coordination, and contract-based planning.

Experience in data centres, high-tech facilities, or mission-critical environments is highly desirable.

A proactive, solution-focused mindset. This role is about driving outcomes, not just reporting.

What we’re offering

You will join a company investing heavily in its people and growth, working on career-defining projects that are shaping the UK data centre market.

You will work from modern London offices, collaborating with some of the brightest minds in the sector. With competitive salary, benefits, and clear progression opportunities, this role is ideal for planners looking to accelerate their career in a high-profile, fast-growing team.

Next steps

This is a rare opportunity to join a market-leading team during a phase of rapid expansion. If you are ready to take ownership of complex programmes, contribute to multi-billion-pound developments, and advance your career in a transformational environment, we want to hear from you.
