Junior Health & Safety Officer - Main Contractor - Kildare

SSA are recruiting a Junior Health & Safety Officer on behalf of a Main Contractor, to be site based in Kildare on a landmark project. This is a permanent position. About the company:Our client are a respected contractor who are highly renowned within the Construction Industry. They have a vast array of ongoing and completed projects throughout the country within an array of sectors including Commercial, Residential, Education, Healthcare and more. About the role:

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Help in setting up training sessions, prepare paperwork and file paperwork when complete.
  • Assist with Health and Safety Inductions for all new employees or contractors working on site.
  • Assist in giving Tool Box Talks.
  • Maintenance of safety documentation and paperwork.
  • Work effectively under the guidance of the Senior Health & Safety Staff on-site and the overall Management team.
  • Ensure that there is a strong safety culture on site.

To be successful in your application you will ideally possess the following;

  • Relevant Health & Safety / EHS Qualification.
  • Full Driving Licence
  • 6-12 months Health & Safety Experience
  • Strong communication skills.
