[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are currently recruiting for a leading Civil Engineering & Utilities contractor who are looking to add several Senior Authorised Persons to their team working across their Power & Renewable Energy portfolio across the UK. 

You’ll primarily be working on 11kV, 33kV, and 132kV systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations in line with Distribution Safety Rules.

- Plan and execute HV switching schedules

- Isolate and earth high voltage apparatus safely

- Issue Permits to Work, Sanctions for Test, and Limitations of Access

- Develop and implement safety documentation and method statements

- Attend client meetings and resolve operational issues

- Mentor junior engineers and support project planning

You will need:

- SAP authorisation at 11kV, 33kV, or 132kV on a UK DNO network (e.g., UKPN, SSE, SPEN, ENWL)

- Experience in substation construction, HV commissioning, or network maintenance

- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering, safety regulations, and outage planning
