Job description
Salary: £40,696 - £43,722 p.a. (depending on experience) inclusive of a market supplement, which is subject to a review at three-yearly intervals. There is also additional remuneration for being part of the on-call rota.

St John’s College, one of the largest Colleges within the University of Cambridge, is seeking to appoint a Senior Electrician to maintain and improve the College’s electrical systems across its buildings and properties.
The role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving the College’s electrical systems across a range of buildings. You will carry out planned and reactive electrical work, ensure compliance with current regulations, and support portable appliance testing. You will also advise on electrical systems, assist with wider maintenance tasks, and contribute to the smooth running of College operations. The role requires strong technical knowledge, a practical approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to safe working practices.
