ROV/Survey Workshop Supervisor - VR/32180
We’re working with a leading global engineering organisation supporting major energy and infrastructure projects worldwide. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to appoint an experienced Survey Workshop Supervisor to take ownership of workshop operations and asset readiness. This is a full time permanent position based in Bridge of Don.
You’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the workshop, ensuring equipment is maintained, tested, and delivered on time to support offshore and onshore operations.
Overview job description
- Coordinating workshop activities and scheduling daily workloads.
- Inspecting, maintaining, calibrating, and repairing survey equipment.
- Managing inventory, stock levels, and asset tracking systems.
- Ensuring compliance with QA/QC procedures, certifications, and manufacturer standards.
- Producing technical documentation, reports, and procedures.
- Supporting engineering teams with equipment selection and technical queries.
- Overseeing equipment logistics, storage, and shipment readiness.
- Contributing to continuous improvement and R&D initiatives.
Applicants to this role require
- Experience in a survey or electronics workshop environment.
- Strong background in inspection, testing, and maintenance of survey equipment.
- Knowledge of equipment installation and interfacing (sensors/survey systems).
- Ability to read and interpret electronic and mechanical technical drawings.
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office).
- Relevant college education or industry training (survey/electronics preferred).
