An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team across multiple locations. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing of supplier invoices, while driving process improvements and team excellence.

What you’ll do:

  • Leading and managing the Accounts Payable Team locally and overseas providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
  • Overseeing all invoice processing, approvals, and payment runs to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
  • Managing the transition of AP processes from legacy systems to new ERP.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, resolving queries efficiently.
  • Driving process improvements and implementing best practices to enhance team performance and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborating closely with procurement, operations, and finance teams to ensure aligned processes.
  • Preparing and presenting reports on accounts payable performance, KPIs, and month-end/year-end closing activities.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience managing accounts payable teams, ideally in multi-location or international environments.
  • Strong ERP and accounting system knowledge and advanced Excel skills.
  • Understanding of international payment processes and multi-currency transactions.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Flexible and proactive approach, with a commitment to continual improvement and building effective relationships.
