A permanent Business Development Executive role focused on expanding market presence across the UK and Europe within the subsea sector. Based in Aberdeen, this position supports growth across defence, oil & gas and marine renewable energy markets, combining strategic sales activity, client relationship management and technical understanding within complex subsea environments.

Main duties and responsibilities

- Develop and execute a structured business development approach aligned with growth objectives across the UK and European subsea markets.

- Identify and progress short, medium and long-term opportunities within existing accounts and new client organisations.

- Build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through proactive networking, relationship-building and market engagement.

- Maintain and develop long-term client relationships, ensuring a clear understanding of evolving technical and commercial requirements.

- Present and promote subsea products and services to prospective customers, tailoring solutions to application-specific needs.

- Manage sales opportunities through to close, coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate technical input and commercial proposals.

- Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions and conferences relevant to the subsea sector.

- Capture and maintain accurate client, opportunity and interaction data within the CRM system.

- Provide regular updates on sales activity, forecasts and market intelligence.

- Travel throughout the UK and Europe in line with business and client requirements.

- Strong understanding of subsea applications and harsh operating environments.
