Area Sales Manager - Northern Scotland - VR/32179

An opportunity to join a growing healthcare distributor as an Area Sales Manager, responsible for managing and developing relationships with independent pharmacies across Northern Scotland while supporting ongoing sales growth within an established territory.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Managing and servicing an established territory of independent retail pharmacy customers across Northern Scotland, including Aberdeen, Dundee, Perth, and Inverness.
  • Maintaining regular customer visits to support existing accounts, build trusted relationships, and ensure a high standard of service.
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the independent pharmacy sector.
  • Working towards achieving agreed sales targets within a demanding but realistic sales environment.
  • Planning and organising territory activity effectively to maximise customer coverage and commercial performance.
  • Adapting sales approach in line with changes within the pharmacy sector, demonstrating commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
  • Representing the business professionally, building credibility and trust with customers through strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Operating as part of a collaborative sales team within a fast?paced, small business environment.
