Preferred Skills and Experience

- Proven experience of developing low latency, highly available, and scalable solutions. - Experience working with high volumes of transactions. - Previous experience in a senior position and accustomed to mentoring junior team members. - Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and familiarity with relevant tools. - Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, such as Golang, Python and Typescript, essential for developing automated process with supporting APIs and frontend tooling. - Knowledge of network and security technologies, along with foundational networking principles such as TCP/IP, routing and switching, and firewall configurations. - Familiarity with content delivery technologies and principles, including load balancing, caching, and cloud-based services. - Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy, and proactivity, enabling effective navigation in technically challenging environments. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills, along with experience in change and version control systems. - Experience working within a Linux-centric environment.
