Role: Behaviour Specialist
Hours: 8:15am – 4:15pm (36 hours per week, 39 weeks per year – term time only)
Contract: Long-Term with a clear pathway to Permanent
Salary: £125–£155 per day
Start Date: ASAP (with flexibility for January/February 2026 starters)
Permanent Opportunity: September 2026 for the right candidate

A warm, welcoming and highly collaborative secondary school in West London is seeking a Behaviour Specialist to join its pastoral team. Working across Key Stages 3 and 4, you’ll support students at pivotal moments – helping them reflect, reset and re-engage with learning in a calm, respectful and restorative way.
Your Role Will Include:
- Supporting students in the supervised learning room to maintain positive learning behaviours
- Assisting with behaviour investigations and follow-ups alongside senior leaders
- Leading restorative conversations and supporting successful reintegration plans
- Monitoring corridors and classrooms to promote a calm, purposeful environment
- Organising and supervising after-school detentions
- Building trusted relationships with a caseload of students, supporting behaviour, wellbeing and personal growth
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Educated to GCSE level in Maths and English (degree level desirable)
- Experienced in working with children or young people (school, youth or community settings)
- Calm, empathetic and confident when supporting behaviour
- An excellent communicator with strong organisational skills
- Passionate about safeguarding, inclusion and equal opportunities
