Key Responsibilities
As a Learning Mentor, you will:
- Support students with a variety of SEND including; Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs, Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia and Behavioural challenges
- Support with lessons and interventions, both 1:1 and in small groups
- Help remove barriers to learning and promote engagement and confidence
- Differentiate support to meet a range of learning needs
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
- Support positive behaviour and contribute to a calm, purposeful learning environment
- Work closely with teaching staff, SEND, and pastoral teams
- Contribute to students’ academic progress and personal development
