White Label are working with a [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] company who specialise in Turnkey Mechanical Solutions in South Yorkshire. They are looking to recruit a Senior Design Engineer on a permanent basis and to manage projects from cradle to grave.
The Role
White Label are working with a [Employer hidden] company who specialise in Turnkey Mechanical Solutions in South Yorkshire easily accessible from Leeds, Wakefield, Barnsley, Sheffield, Rotherham, Pontefract, Huddersfield.
They are looking to recruit a Senior Design Engineer on a permanent basis and to manage projects from cradle to grave.
This is an excellent opportunity to get involved in new and exciting projects with a company going from strength to strength.
Day to day you will be involved in:
- ·Concept design solutions for bespoke projects from Tender stage through to commissioning
- ·Liaise with Junior designers who will complete the detailed design phase
- ·Liaise with customers, engineers and shop floor staff to ensure the projects hit the right deadlines and timeframes.
- ·To carry out calculations either by hand or using software to ensure the product can cope with loads & stresses etc.
- ·Attend site visits to meet with customers.
Experience required:
- ·5 – 10 years’ design experience within a heavy engineering environment, rotating machinery/equipment
- ·3D CAD experience
- ·HNC educated minimum
- ·Ability to be flexible and communicate easily with internal and external stakeholders.
The salary depends on experience but starts from £40,000 – £45,000 depending on experience + 25 days holiday + pension + private medical + 37 hour week with flexible working.
Working hours are Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 17:00 and Friday 08:30 – 1:30pm with 30 minutes flexible working.
