Overview

Operations Tech Analyst Programme (OA) is a 6-month rotational programme for soon-to-be and recent graduates. This programme provides a blend of education, skill building, and exposure to [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] and the financial services industry. It will prepare you for a full-time position where you will design and develop applications and processes for the operations department.

This role is based in the UK; however, the first six months of the programme will take place in our Dublin office as part of an immersive graduate training experience. During this time, you will join peers from across Europe for in-depth learning and hands-on development before returning to London on a full-time basis. You will have the necessary support to make this transition smooth and focused on your learning and development.

Our Programme:

As an Operations Tech Analyst, you will be exposed to the full life cycle of [Employer hidden]’s trading activity and develop a fundamental understanding of the industry and trading environment in which [Employer hidden] operates. Trading Operations sits at the intersection of trading, technology, and external counterparties. You will work within trading operations teams to break down problems into their logical components and develop efficient technology solutions that will be released to the desks. You and your team will be responsible for the full lifecycle (Design, Build, Test, and Maintain) of each application the Trading Operations Tech team owns.

Across your rotations in Dublin, you will gain in-depth exposure to our trading desks and business areas. Each rotation incorporates hands-on experience and real-time tech projects that add immediate value. Throughout the programme, you will collaborate with our in-house technology development teams as well as work closely with our tactical teams. If you have a keen interest in financial markets, technology, and working directly with traders, this role could be an excellent fit for you.

What’s in it for you:

Education: [Employer hidden]’s in-house education programme is widely recognised as being the best in the industry. You will attend regular seminars to learn about in-house business, products, and tech (Excel, SQL, Python etc.).

Support: You will be assigned a mentor from our trading operations team for each of your rotations. You will also be assigned a buddy who was a previous Operations Tech Analyst to guide you along the way.

Real Impact: You will develop solutions that will be immediately implemented by the teams. Here, you'll see the real impact that your problem-solving skills can have on the firm.

Culture: Our non-hierarchical culture allows employees of every level to thrive. We buck the trend in the Finance world. The environment is casual, collaborative and we focus on continuous development, no matter how long you’ve been in [Employer hidden].

What we're looking for

Passion for Tech: You’re eager to apply your tech skills by working with Python, SQL, VBA or other programming languages where appropriate. This role is up to 80% coding so it is essential you have a flare for development work.

Problem Solver: You enjoy solving puzzles and love when you discover a solution to difficult problems. You’re not afraid to discuss ideas and work with others to find the optimal solution.

Communicator: You enjoy building relationships with those you work closely with. You enjoy sharing ideas, expressing your thoughts and listening to the views of others.

Ambitious: You constantly set yourself goals in life and give your all to achieve them. Be it in sports, music, academics, or another passion you have, you’re not afraid to put in the effort to reach your full potential.

Numerical & Logical: When it comes to decision making, you use clear and sound reasoning. You’re rational and like to use numbers and data to come up with sensible solutions.

Interest in Finance: Interest in the financial markets and gaining exposure to a true front office trading environment.

Curious: You’re eager to find out more about what it’s like to work in the Finance sector, and specifically in an Operations role within a true front office environment. You have an identifiable interest in the financial markets and current affairs.

Soon-to-be or recent graduate: Our programme starts in early September 2026
