We are a leading provider of decisioning software and data services to the online lending industry, supporting a wide range of UK clients with innovative, high-performance solutions. As part of our ambitious international growth plans, we are expanding our commercial team and seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to drive client acquisition, nurture relationships, and identify new opportunities across existing markets and emerging territories.

Role Purpose

As part of our ambitious international growth plans, we are expanding our commercial team and seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to drive client acquisition, nurture relationships, and identify new opportunities across existing markets and emerging territories. This role is central to expanding our client base, strengthening our market presence, and supporting the long-term success of our sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business acquisition by researching prospects, generating qualified leads, and expanding the client base across UK and overseas markets.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using provided tools and CRM systems.
  • Take ownership of all allocated leads, working closely with the Head of Sales to prioritise high-value opportunities.
  • Prepare tailored proposals, present product solutions, and deliver compelling sales presentations both virtually and in person.
  • Identify client needs and proactively recommend solutions that align with their business requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services and products.
  • Maintain the highest standards of relationship management and client care.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, staying current with sales techniques, new product features, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, including forecasts, activity logs, and communication updates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of client solutions.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a client-facing, account management, or business development role—ideally within IT, fintech, software, SaaS, or financial services.
  • Excellent communicator with polished presentation abilities.
  • Confident, influential, and able to build rapport at all organisational levels.
  • Commercially minded, target driven, and motivated by achieving measurable results.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho) and data-driven sales approaches.

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Financial Services, or a related field.
