We're hiring Jill's first dedicated seller. You'll report directly to the B2B GTM Lead and sit right in the flow between product, engineering, and customers.
Your job is simple: build the new business engine from scratch and grow revenue.
This is a high-ownership, high-consequence role. You won't get a playbook on day one. You'll write it. If you want clear lanes and a tidy task list, this isn't for you. If you want real autonomy, direct access, and a straight line between what you ship this week and whether revenue moves next week, this is as good as it gets.
You'll own the full new business motion: first touch through to a role going live in Jill. You'll start by doing things manually to learn what works, then build the playbooks, tooling, and loops that scale it.
This is a founding role. The work will evolve as we grow.
What you'll actually do
- Hunt pipeline: own outbound sequences, channel tests, and the activity that fills the top of funnel
- Close: run fast cycles with founders, TA leads, and hiring managers at London's best startups and scaleups
- Drive activation: get customers to their first value moment (a role live in Jill) quickly and reliably
- Diagnose and fix: find where revenue is getting stuck and prioritise ruthlessly
- Own our partnerships program and run events across the London startup ecosystem
- Systemise what works: build dashboards, workflows, and an operating rhythm that compounds over time
You'll be a great fit if
You've carried a bag and closed at a fast-growth B2B SaaS or AI company. Not just supported deals, not just managed accounts. You prospected, ran full cycles, and hit (then beat) quota. You know what elite selling looks like because you've done it.
Beyond that:
- Sharp, structured thinker who communicates with precision
- Comfortable operating with high ambiguity and zero infrastructure
- Builder instinct: you want to own a motion, not just work inside one
- London-based, right to work in the UK, in-office 5 days a week at Shoreditch Exchange
The profiles we're hiring from
We're primarily looking for one type of person, with three other routes in for truly exceptional candidates.
The AE at inflection point: 2-5 years of full-cycle B2B SaaS closing at a product-led, high-growth company. You've consistently hit or exceeded quota, earned rapid promotions, and you're ready to own more than a number.
The elite recruiter: You've placed candidates, managed client relationships, and understand the hiring market deeply from both sides. Deep market knowledge counts for something here, but you must demonstrate you can sell and close.
The elite generalist with GTM chops: You've been a founders associate, chief of staff, or strategy consultant and you've been in the room where commercial decisions happen, with hands-on GTM execution experience.
