Working Model:Hybrid with regular site visits
Additional Requirement: Full driving licence (company vehicle provided)
About The Role
The Key Account Manager will oversee a multi-site soft services contract across the Midlands, ensuring high-quality service delivery and strong customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for managing operations including cleaning, security, landscaping, and waste management, ensuring all services are delivered efficiently, cost‑effectively, and in full alignment with client expectations. You will lead Site Managers and Supervisors, ensure full contract compliance, and drive continuous improvement across all locations.
Key Responsibilities of the Key Account Manager:
- Contract Management: Oversee contract execution, ensuring compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and budget management. Handle contract renewals and negotiations.
- Operational Oversight: Supervise delivery of soft services, develop operational plans, and monitor quality control procedures.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary client contact, build relationships, and report on contract performance.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop contract and subcontracted teams, ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to regulations, prepare performance and financial reports, and manage audits and corrective actions.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify cost-saving opportunities, implement innovations, and drive service optimisation.
Key Requirements of the Key Account Manager:
- Proven experience in managing soft services within the FM industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.
- Proficient in financial and contract management.
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and organisational skills.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to service excellence.
