Key Responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager in all aspects of day-to-day operations.
- Lead and motivate the front-of-house team, fostering a positive, collaborative working environment.
- Maintain high standards of guest service, ensuring memorable and seamless dining experiences.
- Assist in staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Monitor and improve operational processes to ensure efficiency and service excellence.
- Oversee floor operations during service, ensuring smooth communication between front and back of house.
- Contribute to financial performance through cost control, upselling strategies, and team productivity.
- Champion Roe’s ethos of sustainability, seasonality, and innovation in every aspect of the operation.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations.
About You:
- Previous experience as an Assistant General Manager in a high-volume, quality-driven restaurant.
- A natural leader with excellent communication and team development skills.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, guest service, and financial KPIs.
- Calm under pressure, with great attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Passionate about food, sustainability, and forward-thinking hospitality.
- Energetic, hands-on, and always leading by example.
- Ambitious and eager to grow within a fast-evolving company.
