Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the General Manager in all aspects of day-to-day operations.
  • Lead and motivate the front-of-house team, fostering a positive, collaborative working environment.
  • Maintain high standards of guest service, ensuring memorable and seamless dining experiences.
  • Assist in staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Monitor and improve operational processes to ensure efficiency and service excellence.
  • Oversee floor operations during service, ensuring smooth communication between front and back of house.
  • Contribute to financial performance through cost control, upselling strategies, and team productivity.
  • Champion Roe’s ethos of sustainability, seasonality, and innovation in every aspect of the operation.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations.

About You:

  • Previous experience as an Assistant General Manager in a high-volume, quality-driven restaurant.
  • A natural leader with excellent communication and team development skills.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, guest service, and financial KPIs.
  • Calm under pressure, with great attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Passionate about food, sustainability, and forward-thinking hospitality.
  • Energetic, hands-on, and always leading by example.
  • Ambitious and eager to grow within a fast-evolving company.
