Develop the skills to manage orders accurately and efficiently. Learn how to select goods using systems like RFID, the importance of FIFO and LIFO principles, and how to correctly package and prepare goods for dispatch to meet customer requirements.
Unit 4: Understand How to Check Stock and Update Records.
Understand the critical role of stock management. Learn the purpose of different stock checks (continuous, cyclical, spot), the process for dealing with discrepancies and damaged goods, and how to accurately update records to maintain operational integrity.
Unit 5: Customer Service in Warehousing and Storage.
Learn the importance of customer service within a logistics context. Identify internal and external customer needs, understand the positive and negative impacts of service on reputation, and develop positive communication skills like active listening and using the LEAPS model to handle queries effectively.
