Unit 4: Developing Professional Relationships

Master strategies for building positive, respectful relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues. Understand professional boundaries, confidentiality, and data protection legislation in educational settings.

Unit 5: Promoting Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI)

Understand the impact of prejudice and discrimination and how to promote inclusive practices. You will learn to support every child’s participation and success, regardless of their background or ability.

Unit 6: Supporting Health and Safety

Learn to create and maintain safe learning environments, both in the classroom and during off-site activities. Understand risk assessment principles and your responsibilities for emergency procedures and child safety.

Unit 7: Understanding Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Gain a comprehensive overview of the SEND Code of Practice. Explore evidence-based theories and practical strategies for supporting learners with autism and other common SEN conditions.

Unit 8: Understanding Understanding Behavioural Support

Learn to apply school behaviour policies and develop positive reinforcement strategies. You will understand the underlying reasons for challenging behaviour and master effective de-escalation techniques.
