Learn daily vehicle inspection procedures for interior and exterior components. Identify, assess, and report defects to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
Unit 5: Expert Cargo Handling and Securing
Develop skills for loading and securing goods safely, focusing on load distribution and axle weight management. Learn to prevent accidents through proper loading practices and the safe use of equipment.
Unit 6: Driver Health and Wellbeing
Maintain your physical and mental health as a professional driver. Learn strategies for healthy eating, fitness, and stress management during long-haul operations
Unit 7: Fuel Efficiency and Environmental Responsibility
Master eco-driving techniques to maximise fuel efficiency and reduce environmental impact. Includes basic first aid training for emergencies.

Assessment and Technology
You will not have to sit any traditional written exams. Instead, you will complete online theory and hazard perception tests, plus a practical driving assessment at your local test centre.Course theory is available at any time on our Moodle platform, and live Zoom sessions are delivered by experienced logistics professionals. You will also train on modern vehicles maintained to current safety standards, and gain practical experience with digital tachograph systems, telematics, and fleet management tools.
