Highways Electrician

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Ltd is seeking a dynamic and ambitious Highways Electrician to join their expanding team. The role involves working on various projects including street lighting, rail lighting, and commercial electrical works. The company offers opportunities for professional growth, training, and competitive pay, with a salary up to £48k DOE.

What we're looking for

  • Someone with Street-lighting or Highways experience.
  • G39 and IPAF certifications. (Training provided if needed)
  • HERS Highways Electrician ECS card.
  • 714/2391 Testing & Inspection experience.
  • 18th Edition.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Highways Electrical Systems (highly desirable).
  • JIB Installation/Approved Gold Card (desirable).
  • 7.5T+ licence & HIAB ticket (desirable).
  • Experience working on motorways (desirable).
  • Strong focus on Health & Safety.
  • Flexible for night work or working away for extended periods of time. (great overtime rates!)

What yoU'll do

You’ll be working on a range of projects including:

  • Street lighting installations, isolator works, and lantern conversions.
  • Column installs and SWA terminations
  • ANPR camera systems
  • Rail lighting and other electrical works across diverse environments.
  • Highways Technology projects.
  • Bread and Butter Commercial projects with various containment systems and three phase systems.
  • EICRs on commercial and Industrial systems.
