Our client is a fantastic supplier and global sourcing business in Fashion and Lifestyle categories with cutting-edge technology, Design and Innovation. Their UK office is now looking for a Sales Support/Assistant Merchandiser to work with the senior sales team. This is a unique opportunity to work for a next generation tech-based sourcing and supply chain company in their new sourcing office based in Leicestershire. This role will enable to candidate to attend and support in sales meetings with high street retailers and work with internal teams to ensure all these meetings are followed up, liaising with overseas factories and manage critical path to ensure on time delivery. Sales Support - The Role:

• Attend customer meetings to support sales team
• Liaising with factories / in country teams, on email & phone with regards to actions following meeting.
• Updating and analysing internal and customer critical paths
• Sending sample submissions – Lab dips/strike offs to customer
• Liaising with design department if any design issues
• Identifying any potential issues and dealing with any problems that arise
• Maintain strong customer relationship
• Ensuring a smooth handover between departments
• Assist in trend research

Sales Support - The Candidate:

• Fashion based Degree with strong numerical skills
• Intelligent, driven and passionate who wants to get into or improve opportunities within sales
• Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Confident and friendly approach to dealing with customers over the telephone and face to face
• Excellent attention to detail
• Self-motivated and able to work proactively
• Team player
• Positive can-do approach
• Ability to drive due to location
