LED Project Coordinator

Energy Efficient Solutions Group (EESG) was born out of extensive experience in the lighting industry, actively promoting the energy-saving benefits of LED lighting through our organisation, Energy Saving Lighting. From this background, the Group has evolved to further support our clients in their drive towards decarbonisation and Net Zero, providing a wide range of solutions, including LED Lighting, Solar PV, Heating solutions, Electric Vehicle Charging, and Air Purification.

The Project Coordinator provides project coordination and administrative support across LED lighting and renewable energy projects, operating within the Project Management Office governance framework.

The role supports Project Managers and Project Planners by maintaining project documentation, tracking progress, coordinating activities, and ensuring that project information is accurate, current, and compliant with agreed standards. The Project Coordinator does not take ownership of project delivery decisions but enables effective delivery through strong coordination, control, and reporting discipline.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day coordination support across multiple concurrent projects
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date project documentation in line with PMO document control standards
  • Support the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and key milestones
  • Track project progress, actions, and risks, escalating issues to the Project Manager or Project Planner as appropriate
  • Coordinate project activities with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to support efficient delivery
  • Support health and safety coordination by ensuring required documentation is in place and project requirements are followed
  • Assist with client communications and reporting, ensuring information is accurate and issued to agreed timelines
  • Support financial administration, including purchase order tracking, cost records, and variation logs
  • Contribute to project close-out activities, including documentation handover and post-project reviews

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams in a structured manner
  • Good planning, coordination, and time management skills
  • Strong administrative and documentation control capability
  • Commercial awareness to support cost tracking and financial record keeping
  • Experience supporting projects within construction, electrical, lighting, or renewable energy environments
