About The Role

The Details:

- Title:Football Lead Coach

- Contract: Seasonal work available in school holidays (Summer).

- Hours: 8.30am – 4.30pm weekdays.

Summary of Position:

• Ensure the successful delivery of our sport academy programme
• Ensure the welfare and safety of the children
• Deliver excellent, energetic coaching sessions where all children can develop their skills, be challenged and have fun and manage/support your team of coaches to do the same.
• Demonstrate the ability to develop and progress sessions for varying ages and abilities.
• Act as a key point of contact for parents, Head Office, host venue, and children.

About You

Essential Requirements:

• Hold a minimum L2 coaching qualification (or equivalent) or have experience competing to a high level.
• Significant experience working and coaching children
• Excellent working knowledge of all aspects of chosen sport (technical, tactical, physical)
• Good organisation and communication skills.
• Approachable, patient, and above all, passionate!

Desirable Requirements:

• Management/supervisory experience
• Hold a Paediatric First Aid (12 or 6 hour) or First Aid at Work qualification
