About The Role

The Details:

• Title:Ultimate Cookery Instructor
• Contract: Seasonal work available in school holidays
• Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5.30pm (except on Mondays when you will be expected to start at 8am to set up for the week. Overtime for this will be paid)

Summary of Position:

• Following guided recipes, prepare and deliver cookery activities to children.
• Encourage participation and development.
• Take on a pastoral role as a group leader on camp.
• Act as a point of contact for parents.

About You

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified, or working towards relevant qualifications, in nutrition, cookery or food technology or a self-taught foodie with the passion to get children excited about cookery.
• Experience of working with children
• Good organisation and communication skills.
• A flexible team player, able to adapt to dynamic situations and challenges on camp.
• Someone looking for a rewarding holiday job, whilst furthering their career in the childcare and coaching industry.

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience/qualifications in teaching food technology
• Hold a Paediatric First Aid (12 or 6 hour) or First Aid at Work qualification
