FULL DESCRIPTION

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are looking for a Project Engineer, to support our client with their project offshore, UK. As a Project Engineer, you will be integral in preparing and executing various offshore projects, acting as the bridge between the project team and the operational crew. Your role is vital in ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and effectively.

Primary Tasks and responsibilities

  • Prepare, revise, and approve technical documentation for project design phases, ensuring adherence to standards, guidelines, and best practices
  • Monitor and control costs during project execution
  • Plan and execute all assigned tasks on time, safely, efficiently, reliably, and cost-effectively.
  • Manage vendors and contractors onsite, analyse potential risks, and recommend actions to mitigate issues related to construction (EHS, manpower, logistics)
  • Monitor installation processes

Technical profile requirements

  • +7 years of experience in Project Engineering in a marine environment
  • In-depth understanding of dredging operations and vessel management
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices related to marine and civil engineering

Non-Technical profile requirements

  • Extensive experience in project management, particularly in dredging and vessel projects
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with regulations

Methodology/Certification requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Marine Engineering or related field
  • Full GWO
  • Offshore Medical
  • Fluent speaking and writing English, proficiency in other languages is a major plus

The project is due to start on 30th March 2026 and will last approx. 2 weeks
