About this job
A leading UK-based drug discovery organisation is seeking a talented LC-MS Specialist to join its analytical chemistry team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative small molecule discovery programmes within a highly collaborative research environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain open-access LC-MS systems
- Purify and analyse chiral and achiral compounds
- Generate high-quality physchem data to support project decisions
- Contribute to cross-functional discovery teams (Chemistry & DMPK)
Requirements:
- Degree in Chemistry or related discipline
- 3+ years’ hands-on HPLC/LC-MS experience in a drug discovery setting
- Strong background in chiral separations and analytical techniques
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Desirable:
- Experience with Shimadzu or Agilent systems
- Exposure to SFC, HRMS, or in vitro ADME assays
