Senior Authorised Person (SAP) – 66kV
A growing HV engineering contractor delivering major UK power infrastructure projects is looking to speak with experienced Senior Authorised Persons authorised up to 66kV.
This is a hands-on operational SAP role, supporting HV switching, commissioning and energisation across a range of 33kV and 66kV distribution projects.
We’re particularly interested in engineers from DNO, IDNO, ICP or HV contracting environments who are used to operating under DNO-style safety rules.
Key responsibilities include:
- HV switching and network operations up to 66kV
- Issuing and controlling safety documentation (PTW, SFT, LOA)
- Supporting commissioning and energisation activities
- Operational control of HV systems and substations
- Working closely with project and engineering teams
Typical work includes:
- 33kV / 66kV substations
- Network reinforcement and infrastructure projects
- New connections and commissioning works
- Distribution network operations
Package includes:
- £70k–£90k basic salary depending on experience
