Logistics Specialist

Role Summary:

This role will be an active member of the Logistics Dept with worldwide scope, to deliver the best service level to our customers.

Work Location: Bury St Edmunds/Hybrid - 3 days a week (after initial training period) in the office at Bury St. Edmunds.

Your day-to-day might include:

  • Supporting Global Logistics Manager with daily activities as well as new projects implementation.
  • Responsible for efficiency/cost recovery projects and new processes implementation according to company Logistics strategy.
  • Cost control and regular reporting over the Logistics business (European and US).
  • Logistics Performance reporting (Service Level and KPI measurement): Picking Accuracy, Stock management accuracy, transportation lead time.
  • Daily support to Logistics providers.
  • Daily support to Customer Service/Sales.
  • Daily support to Trade Compliance team.
  • Daily support to claims and exceptions management.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Industrial Engineering preferable or a Technical or Logistics & Supply Chain degree.
  • Independent, pro-active, service-oriented.
  • Able to self-organize. Independent in reaching goals.
  • Good in communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Skills and attitude in managing mass data including analysis and reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, Power BI would be a plus.
  • Basics of an ERP structure.

Nice to Have:

  • Significant experience of industry standard fully integrated ERP systems. IFS or M3 experience desired.

Education and Qualifications:

  • GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • CIPS (desirable)
