FULL DESCRIPTION

As a Trainee Appraiser, you will be responsible for evaluating customers' items daily, working alongside specialists and your team leader to make well-informed decisions. You will develop expertise across a diverse range of vintage and antique items while striving to meet and exceed key performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess and accurately value a variety of vintage and antique items. - Work closely with specialists to refine appraisal techniques and knowledge. - Maintain high levels of accuracy to meet quality control standards. - Ensure efficient processing of customer boxes in line with department KPIs. - Support the continuous improvement of appraisal processes and customer satisfaction. - Strong attention to detail and a passion for learning about vintage and antique items. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. - A methodical and analytical approach to decision-making. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. - Previous experience in valuation, appraisals, or a related field is beneficial but not required—full training is provided.

Working Pattern

- Shift One, this is our earlier shift in the day. The working hours are 7am to 3pm. - Working days are Monday to Friday. - Contracted working hours 40 per week.
