Assistant Store Manager

This joint venture store brings together a skilled team consisting of one dispensing optician and five optical assistants, giving the assistant store manager the opportunity to lead, support, and develop a close‑knit group.

As an assistant store manager, you’ll work closely with the joint venture partner to support day‑to‑day store operations while acting as a hands‑on leader on the shop floor. You’ll help drive performance, maintain exceptional service standards, and ensure every customer enjoys a first‑class experience. People management will be a key part of your responsibilities - the assistant store manager will coach, develop, and motivate colleagues to help them reach their full potential.

This role is ideal for a natural problem‑solver. As an assistant store manager, you’ll be calm under pressure, able to make confident decisions, and ready to guide the team through everyday challenges. From supporting colleagues with queries to resolving customer issues and ensuring smooth store operations, you’ll help create a positive, collaborative, and high‑performing environment.
