Branch Assistant

Job Introduction

This position would suit someone with strong Warehouse and Driving experience.

Working in our mechanical & electrical product branch, you'll help maintain and manage our equipment as well as deliver orders to customers as and when needed.

This means ensuring all the required kit is ready for use, testing and running the equipment and referring any repairs to the Fitters. There will be a requirement to deliver on occasions in the local area too which means a full driving licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all equipment is stored correctly and safely
• Complete Test and Run activity ensuring our equipment is in working order, referring any repairs to our Fitters
• Being responsible for Health & Safety at Work legislation requirements as well as keeping branch presentation to a high standard at all times
• There will be a requirement to deliver on occasions in the local area which means a clean and full driving licence is essential

What We’re Looking For

• Experience of a Warehouse, Logistics or Construction/Trade environment
• Multi-drop driving experience
• Valid UK driving licence
• Forklift licence desirable
• An interest in tools and small plant
• Positive attitude with a genuine desire to provide an excellent service
• Knowledge of how to repair and maintain small tools products including Test and Run is desirable
