Driver/Technician

Job Introduction

We're looking for a pro-active team player to become one of our full time Driver/Technicians.

Starting and finishing your shift at the branch, you'll play a pivotal role in the team and will usually be found out on the road delivering & collecting our specialist equipment to and from customers. You'll do all of this professionally, safely and on time.

Key Responsibilities

You'll visit suppliers and other Vp businesses, and will also provide demonstrations on correct use of equipment where needed. With a vast range of goods, we'll make sure you're trained up on how to use all of our kit.

As well as the driving side of the role, you'll get to service and maintain our equipment in the branch (eg. PAT test, Test & Run), to ensure it's ready for hire at our high quality standards.

What We're Looking For

• A full UK driving licence
• Previous driving/multi-drop work history
• Some experience with tools, plant, construction, electronics etc would be highly desirable
• Good local knowledge of the area
• Always happy to help, great customer service
